Job Description

As an Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in driving success and innovation. Our work depends on an Operations Manager joining our team to coordinate the operations of a complex, multi-client program executed in Tampa, FL. This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills to ensure program efforts are coordinated, planned, and executed in accordance with client guidance, data analysis, assessment, and priorities.

HOW AN OPERATIONS MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Works alongside the CCMD Task leads to Coordinates the operations of a complex, multi-client program executed in Tampa, FL.

  • Provides inputs to program support strategy development and ensures adherence to client guidance, program quality standards, and cultural sensitivities.

  • Ensures the coordination of multiple client efforts and resolves gaps and deficiencies to ensure client project leads are fully resourced.

  • Ensures program efforts are coordinated and planned in accordance with client guidance, data analysis, assessment, and client priorities.

  • Assists with COOP activities in the need of an alternative work location due to any customer driven guidance

  • Assists clients in analyzing applicable policies, regulations, and authorities, if required.

  • Captures lessons learned and best practices and supports efforts to apply them across related program efforts.

  • Captures instances and impact of cross-client collaboration.

  • Communicates with the PM and DPM, as well as others in the program management office, for awareness and support to planned and ongoing efforts.

  • Provides periodic reporting to the program management office.

  • Supports administrative matters, including recruiting operation coordination, leave coordination, travel coordination/reporting, procurement and expenditure approval processing, and customer-specific training compliance and documentation.

  • Conducts audits and analysis of vendor costs, prepares reports, and reviews project process asset library, providing inputs on refinements or new process assets.

  • Liaises with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.

  • Assures quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.

  • Manages project artifacts and ensures compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred, in a related business or technical discipline.

Experience:

  • Requires 10-12 years of related experience, including supervisory experience and experience coordinating efforts to engage foreign audiences.

  • Familiarity with MISO practices, including operational assessment and policy issues, required.

  • Familiarity with Combatant Command HQ operational environments highly preferred.

Security Clearance Level:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage and track program requirements, infrastructure needs, and auditing functions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.

  • Proficiency in managing project artifacts and ensuring compliance with policies and standards.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic operational environment.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
