HOW A SOLUTIONS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

We are seeking a skilled Solutions Engineer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance web applications. You will:
  • Develop responsive, modular front-end experiences using component-based architectures such as C# Blazor, Angular, and/or React.
  • Champion technical excellence, writing robust, scalable, and maintainable code guided by Clean Code methodologies.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into elegant technical solutions that drive mission and business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing existing software applications and tools; recommending new technologies and methodologies to improve performance and usability.
  • Designing, developing, and deploying new software tools that extend or replace existing capabilities.
  • Providing full lifecycle support for database design and software development, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Maintaining existing custom-developed software and supporting COTS/GOTS products as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline; or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience.
  • CompTIA Security+ CE (current version).

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of related experience.

Required Technical Skills

  • 3+ years of .NET / .NET Core experience
  • 3+ years of C# experience
  • 2+ years with SQL Server
  • 3+ years with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
  • 2+ years working with component-based architectures (Blazor, Angular, React)
  • Develop scalable, reusable UI components using C# Blazor, Angular, and/or React.
  • Integrate modern front-end components with secure, high-performance RESTful APIs, databases, and backend services.
  • Use development tools such as Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Participate in requirements gathering through customer interaction across the product lifecycle.
  • Apply cybersecurity concepts, including POA&M and related deliverables.

Security Clearance

  • Top Secret clearance required to start; must be able to obtain SCI.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Experience building custom web-based applications using the .NET framework, Visual Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with JavaScript and frameworks/libraries such as jQuery, Kendo UI, Bootstrap, Knockout JS, Moment.js, and Microsoft SignalR.
  • Solid understanding of Agile terminology and workflows.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency with primary front-end frameworks: Blazor, React, or Angular.
  • Experience querying and managing relational databases (SQL Server, CRM-related data).
  • Experience with source control and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, and TFS 2020+.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
  • Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to understand complex information systems and ensure accuracy.
  • Strong written and business communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret specifications, troubleshoot issues, and create effective software solutions.
  • Solid working knowledge of integrating web applications.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $116,813 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
