Job Description

Senior QA Analyst

Job Description:

  • Develops and executes test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization
  • Documents results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
  • Collaborates with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
  • Communicates professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
  • Supports, designs, develops, and enhances test processes and reporting for QA processes
  • Manages testing efforts under tight deadlines
  • Needs to have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Agile development methodology experience preferred
  • Works independently
  • Self motivated

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in  software testing
  • 4+ years’ experience in insurance industry to include experience in the Medicaid Claims adjudication
  • Experience in Agile Software development
  • TSO / SQL knowledge is desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Medicaid/Medicare or insurance industry; to include a minimum of 5 years experience in the Medicaid  Claims applications.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $79,900 - $108,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
