MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an IT Quality Assurance Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of improving Medicare Management Information Systems. You will play a crucial role in systems and software testing and IT Quality Assurance for our customer

  • Manage all testing activities during Design/Development, Implementation, and Operations, Maintenance, and Enhancements of Medicaid related IT Systems.
  • Oversee defect management and produce test metrics and reports
  • Ensure test team follows approved testing processes and procedures
  • Direct and oversee the development of the Test Plan and Strategy for the term of the contract
  • Work directly with customer and GDIT enterprise quality program teams and Testing Center of Excellence.
  • Work collaboratively with the customer, other vendors and GDIT teams for SIT/E2E/UAT testing activities
  • Lead and monitor testing activities ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Support testing and quality efforts during certification and compliance efforts
  • Oversee test environments and test data management



WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your QA and Testing expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The IT Quality Assurance Manager must have five (5) or more years of experience including the following:

  • Four (4) years of professional experience leading testing activities on large implementations
  • Four (4) years of experience in Medicaid Management Information Systems
  • Two (2) years of experience in cloud-based technologies
  • Three (3) years of experience in Azure DevOps, Jira, and HP ALM (Application Life Cycle Management) to keep track testing requirements and testing artifacts
  • Two (2) years of experience in understanding and following ITSM
  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, information systems, or other technical degree

Additional Information: 

Work Arrangements: Remote. Travel 20-50% to the Montgomery, AL area.

Security: A background check will be required.

Timeline: This is a contingent job posting. Work is not expected to begin until December 2026 or later.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
