Job Description

PROJECT/TASK MANAGER

Oversee complex programs that drive impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Project/Task Manager . Here, you’ll see the bigger picture on mission initiatives and where your program management career can go at GDIT.

As a Project/Task Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Manager must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 5+ years of related experience

● Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required
● Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and prepare Program Management Office (PMO) technical documentation which includes monthly status reports, contractor telework reports, GFP annual fiscal report, telework logs and ITAR training and logs. 

  • Track contract deliverables and compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to government standards and timelines.

  • Maintain project documentation repositories in accordance with agency and contract requirements.

  • Coordinate with Deputy Program Manager and Staffing Manager on updating rosters, spreadsheets, and other relevant program documentation.

  • Research technical subject matter and organize/format information from multiples sources in program repository.

  • Proactively respond to program relevant questions on customer network. Transfer critical program documentation between networks for finance, contracts and the PMO.  

  • Stay abreast of all staffing information to provide updates via monthly status reports.

  • Maintain telework logs and telework staff list.

  • Facilitate Export Control and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.  Coordinate with PMO and GDIT ITAR Team to ensure staff compliance under Praxis/GDIT Licensing. Work with ITAR Compliance POC to schedule monthly training and add new companies to Praxis/GDIT License. 

  • Manage Government Furnished Property/Government Furnished Equipment (GFP/GFE) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP). Coordinate with the customer to ensure proper usage of USG MDAT documentation and the transfer of equipment to and from Praxis facility. Physically track Inventory of GFP/GFE for fiscal year reporting.

  • Oversee C2Q/CWIP requirements and ensure that employee certifications are recorded on the customer's spreadsheet for monthly delivery.  

  • Must possess strong writing and editing skills, a track record of working independently, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $119,000 - $161,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
