TPA Core Services Senior Developer

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a TPA Core Services Senior Developer at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of one of the most critical federal healthcare missions and help ensure the stability, performance, and modernization of systems supporting the World Trade Center Health Program.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As a TPA Core Services Senior Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the World Trade Center Health Program (WTCHP). You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining the systems that power Third Party Administrator (TPA) services—directly supporting accurate eligibility, claims adjudication, provider management, and member service operations.

● Lead development and integration work across core TPA systems, ensuring software solutions are stable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business and technical requirements.
● Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA testers, operational SMEs, data teams, and system vendors to build, enhance, and validate system functionality essential to healthcare delivery.
● Drive outcomes by resolving complex technical challenges, implementing modern development approaches, optimizing system performance, and contributing to cross-system interoperability during Transition‑In and steady state.
● Utilize development languages, integration tools, APIs, EDI frameworks, cloud technologies, and DevSecOps practices to implement secure and compliant so

lutions for federal healthcare operations.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your initiative and technical excellence to GDIT. The TPA Core Services Senior Developer must have:

Education: Technical training, certification(s), or degree
Experience: 3+ years of related software development or system integration experience
Technical skills: Proficiency in modern development languages and frameworks; experience with APIs, EDI, integration patterns, cloud environments, relational databases, and tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring platforms
Security clearance level: MB(T2)
US citizenship required
Role requirements: Ability to work across technical and operational teams; familiarity with HIPAA, secure handling of PHI/PII, and federal security/compliance requirements; experience supporting complex system integrations; 0–10% travel as needed

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $144,325. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
