SOFTWARE DEVELOPER PRINCIPAL

HOW A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER PRINCIPAL WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Responsibilities:

  • AI SDLC: Develop, Test, and Deploy leveraging AI capabilities
  • SecDevOps Implementation: Implement SecDevOps practices to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle based on team lead's direction.  Automate deployment pipeline, infrastructure provisioning and security testing processes using tools like Jenkins, Terraform, and SonarQube
  • AWS Cloud Management: Deploy, and manage AWS cloud environment to support the applications and services. 
  • System Integration Interoperability: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate microservices with existing systems and third part APIs.  Ensure interoperability and compatibility between different components and services within the business eco-system
  • Security and Compliance: Work with security team to implement security controls and measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards. Support regular security assessments and audits as needed to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and risks


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field experiences
  • Proven track record of developing software leveraging AI capabilities
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in full stack software development leveraging Java J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot Java frameworks, with a focus on API microservices architecture
  • Proven expertise in implementing SecDevOps practices and tools like Docker, Apache Maven, JBoss Enterprise Application Platform
  • Hands on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version controls, and automated testing frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
