Army Cryptographic Modernization Database (ACMD) Senior Data Analyst

Overview

The ACMD Senior Data Analyst plays a key role in maintaining and advancing the Army’s cryptographic modernization mission. In this position, you will research, analyze, and update critical cryptographic equipment data, support programmatic decision-making, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Army Cryptographic Modernization Database (ACMD). Working as part of a high‑impact team within the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC) Communications Security Directorate (CSD), you will support data management, reporting, analysis, and briefings that inform Army-wide cryptographic modernization efforts and emerging technology initiatives.

Job Duties

  • Learn and maintain proficiency in ACMD navigation, data structures, and business processes; training new team members as needed.
  • Upload monthly inventory density, asset holdings, requirements, and authorization quantities using data from systems such as CMCS, AESIP, LMP, ISSP, and Vantage.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of both classified and unclassified ACMD entries.
  • Identify and report significant inventory shifts to the Government Task Lead within required timelines.
  • Identify and elevate ACMD-related issues that cannot be resolved at your level to the appropriate Government authority within established timelines.
  • Develop, update, and present briefings, correspondence, and project documentation reflecting validated, factual information.
  • Complete recurring reports, database pulls, and equipment data uploads as directed by the Government Task Lead.
  • Conduct semi-annual database reviews and quarterly updates, ensuring data accuracy through research and direct communication with customers, Government, and industry sources.
  • Research new technologies, cryptographic algorithms, programmatic and logistical changes, and platform usage requirements from technical sources, trade journals, vendors, and customer input.
  • Input validated research findings into the ACMD and initiate required updates in accordance with established timelines.
  • Communicate with Army customers, vendors, and internal project leads to validate equipment data and to gather required information.
  • Provide monthly progress reports and status updates to the Government Task Lead.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience: Must possess 4 years of general administrative experience, to include: word processing, spreadsheet usage, data entry operations, and typical office procedures.
  • Must be experienced in military administrative procedures and be familiar with U.S. Army correspondence requirements.
  • Must have working knowledge of industry standard office automation tools.
  • Security clearance level: SECRET

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $24.52 - $33.18. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
