Job Description

CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR SR. PRINCIPAL

Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Contracts Administrator Sr. Principal at GDIT. Here, you’ll enable the success of the most critical government missions and the growth of a meaningful career in Contract Management.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Contracts Administrator Sr. Principal, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Department of State (DOS). You will play a crucial role in shaping, evolving and maintaining the DOS missions surrounding diplomatic support efforts.

●Lead/Manage/Support shaping efforts, proposal creation and submission, contract administration and closeout support

  • Ensures contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
  • Work with programs to help identify scope creep and changes
  • Negotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution.

●Collaborate with the government customer Contracting Officer and other key stakeholders, GDIT program, growth, legal, finance, HR and other key stakeholders

  • Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems
  • Reviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviews
  • Reviews and approves solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customers
  • Reviews and negotiates various types of agreements 

●Drive key outcomes, innovate contracting approaches and resolutions in alignment with agency requirements and Revolutionary FAR Overhaul requirements

  • Interprets contractual work requirements and obligations
  • Makes recommendations regarding contract implementation
  • Maintains knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices
  • Participates in special projects as required

●Utilize Oracle, SharePoint, CoPilot and other business process flows


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your contract administration expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Contracts Administrator Sr. Principal must have:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science. In lieu of degree 14+ years of related experience required.
  • Experience: 10+ years of related experience
  • Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), Oracle is a plus
  • Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain at a Secret clearance
  • US citizenship required
  • Role requirements:
    • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities
    • Highly experienced with various contract types
    • Experience supporting award-term contracts
    • Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
    • Overhaul and customer agency supplements
    • Ability to operate and negotiate independently
  • Location: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Falls Church, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite a minimum of (3) days a week.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $144,999. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
