Join the growing Team at GDIT as a Population Health Lead to supporting the Indian Health Service (IHS) Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) Program known as Patients at the Heart (PATH) EHR.
Your efforts will serve to improve the patient experience and quality of care for over 600 facilities across 37 states serving the American Indian and Alaska Native populations.
HOW A POPULATION HEALTH LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Partner with GDIT Leadership as well as IHS, Oracle Health, and S&P associates to help provide technical expertise in helping stakeholders within the organization understand potential reporting & analytic products and functionalities.
Be responsible for overseeing the various HealtheIntent functionality configurations and optimizing the downstream systems dependent on data management.
Ensure seamless system operation, contribute to the implementation of robust data governance policies, and ensure compliant, role-based access to sensitive analytics assets.
Proactively monitor performance, consult on upgrades, and support integrations with other enterprise systems.
Drive a secure, scalable analytics environment that meets the evolving needs of a dynamic healthcare organization.
Administer user accounts, permissions, roles, and groups; enforce security policies and audit access regularly.
Optimize system performance, monitor health, and ensure high availability through scheduled maintenance and proactive tuning.
Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory requirements and data protection standards are met.
Contribute to platform upgrades, patch management, and integration with other data systems (EHR, ERP, etc.).
Maintain thorough system documentation, disaster recovery plans, and incident response procedures.
Document analytics platform issues, collaborating with Oracle support and internal stakeholders.
Cross-walking legacy report functionality to new system functionalities including reports, registries, mpages, etc.
Provides technical expertise in helping stakeholders within the organization understand report and analytic details including underlying logic, platform or tool functionalities, etc.
Assist users in adopting new or existing functionality through technical documentation or standard operating procedures type documentation.
Contributes to the implementation of robust data governance policies, and ensures compliant, role-based access to sensitive analytics assets.
Contributes to the implementation of custom analytic products, including custom development and analysis.
Be trusted to be a subject matter expert in a matrixed team responsible for assisting in gathering reporting requirements, understanding and applying vendor technology roadmaps, ensuring standards integration within the products, developing products, and health information management compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8+ years of experience in Healthcare IT reporting & analytics roles.
Knowledge of Oracle Health’s EHR suite.
Experience with population health management platforms such as HealtheIntent, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Strong understanding of healthcare data standards including FHIR, HL7, SNOMED, LOINC, ICD, CPT, and related interoperability frameworks.
Experience implementing or supporting data governance frameworks in regulated environments.
Experience collaborating with executive leadership and clinical stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Strong ability to analyze complex clinical workflows and align them with modern analytics functionality.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience implementing Oracle Health’s solution suite
Experience supporting Federal EHR programs
SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
