Maintenance Trades Helper Painter Trainee

Job Qualifications/Skills:

Ability to work independently and pay attention to details.  Ability to ready basic blueprints.

Job Description Summary:

Experience in using industrial paints such as enamels, epoxy and urethane paint systems. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The ability to spray paint using HVLP spray guns. 

The proper use and applications of industrial paints such as enamels, epoxy, and urethane paint systems.

How to read and understand Tech Data Sheets for mixing and applying different paint systems.

Proper techniques of prepping parts for paint using sanders and on occasion sand blasting.

The use of small hand tools such as dial calipers, tape measures and scales.

Education and Experience:

0-2 years of related experience.

Requires a High School diploma or GED.

Technical or Vocational Training preferred but not required.

Skills and Abilities:

Attention to Detail

Reliability

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Self-motivated

Willing to invest and shows initiative and quality craftsmanship.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $15.06 - $20.38. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
