Job Description

Seize your opportunity to make a personal impact as a Senior Procurement Analyst supporting the Hybrid Cloud Products and Tools team in purchasing software and hardware.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. In this role you will provide exceptional procurement support, license administration, and asset management for our customer. You will work with customers to procure, track, and manage software, hardware, and professional services—ensuring all procurements are executed timely and covered by approved funding. Responsibilities include analyzing funding deficits, needs, and concerns, and identifying potential savings opportunities as good stewards of government funds.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
  • Respond timely to customer inquiries via Jira, Slack, and email
  • Initiate requests for quotes, create and manage purchase requisitions (PRs), and receive orders
  • Update and maintain procurement and asset records in the customer's Atlassian Jira workflows and internal GDIT processes (e.g., SC360, SharePoint)
  • Track procurements against awarded contract funding and create Rough Orders of Magnitude (ROMs) to establish funding for new procurements and renewals
  • Initiate Procurement Requests or Funding tickets for customers in Atlassian Jira
  • Track and manage renewals (software, hardware, data center, training, professional services) to ensure continuity ahead of expiration
  • Create and manage Validation of Need (VON) tickets in Atlassian Jira for customer confirmation of renewals
  • Research new products/services and collaborate with vendors and customers to refine requirements
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate meetings and communications with the customer
  • Create and maintain product pages in Atlassian Confluence including vendor POCs, support information, and usage/status reports
  • Provide license administration/management for tools procured on behalf of the customer and respond to license assignment requests
  • Coordinate ongoing training for tools procured on behalf of the customer; review license assignments quarterly and revoke as needed
  • Monthly and quarterly contract deliverables and submit to the customer in advance of deadlines
  • Drive innovation to improve day-to-day processes and the customer experience

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience in procurement; must understand budgeting and other accounting and financial concepts
  • Required Technical Skills: Prior experience working on government procurement programs; Mid-to-Advanced experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Product period-of-performance tracking and organization experience
  • Attributes for Success: Communicates clearly and professionally with customers throughout the procurement journey; Works independently under limited supervision; Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills; Proactive initiative on a high-visibility resell program
  • Preferred Skills: 10+ years of related experience in Procurement; Prior experience working on government procurement programs with inventory value of at least $50M; Skilled in the Atlassian suite of products (Jira and Confluence); Experience with SC360 or other supply chain software/processes; ServiceNow; BMI; AWS/GCP/Azure Marketplaces; Advanced Excel knowledge; Skilled in Outlook, Slack, and Teams for communications; understanding of FAR requirements
  • Location: Remote 100%
  • Travel: may travel once or twice to Falls Church, VA
  • Security Clearance Level: This role will require you to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and will require onsite fingerprinting at a designated facility. Applicants shall have lived in the United States at least 3 out of the last 5 years prior to undergoing the public trust background investigation and submitting an application for a Federal ID card

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $73,965 - $92,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
