This role provides essential real-time intelligence to support force protection and mission-critical decision-making in high-threat environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and Detection: Continuously monitor radar displays to identify and track RAM and UAS threats, ensuring early warning and situational awareness for deployed units.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze radar returns to differentiate between hostile projectiles, drones, and non-threats, delivering accurate, actionable information to command elements.
  • System Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain sophisticated radar equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure peak system performance in challenging field conditions.
  • Communication: Relay critical threat data and system status updates to command centers and response teams using secure communication protocols, enabling rapid and informed tactical responses.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to strict operational procedures to safeguard personnel, maintain system integrity, and ensure compliance with all safety and security standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in radar principles, spatial surveillance, and electronic system maintenance, with a focus on RAM and UAS detection technologies.
  • Analytical and Situational Awareness: Proven ability to assess multiple, fast-moving targets, identify genuine threats, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of precision in monitoring radar data and interpreting complex signals.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for clear, concise reporting to command and operational teams.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of relevant experience in radar operations, preferably in military or security environments.
  • Education and Training: High school diploma or GED required; specialized training or certification in radar operation preferred. Advanced roles may require additional education.
