We are seeking a highly motivated, detailed orientated ServiceNow developer, capable of designing and developing new software products and enhancing existing software. The developer will be a member of an Agile team responsible for developing and maintaining ServiceNow solutions, implementing best practices, and delivering consistent and reliable sof

ware.

HOW A SERVICENOW DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead the development of business process solutions within the ServiceNow framework, while maintaining use of best practices.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of both new applications and application customization.
  • Create and design application tables within ServiceNow platform.
  • Customize the Application UI and workflow.
  • Deliver new services via the service portal.
  • Develop solutions using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS or required developmental language.
  • Participate in daily SCRUM meetings and Agile team ceremonies.
  • Analyze system requirements, estimate the level of effort, develop conceptual designs, and implement ServiceNow solutions.
  • Support the requirements definition and application testing processes.
  • Support requirements for system certifications, including security.
  • Investigate application issues and collaborate with team members to resolve them quickly.
  • Develop reports according to ongoing customer needs.
  • Maintain the ServiceNow environment, including platform version upgrades and application releases without business impact.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BS in Computer Science or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
  • Experience: 5+ years
  • Required Technical Skills:
  • ServiceNow
  • HTML
  • CSS
  • JavaScript
  • Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Desired skills and abilities:
  • Java or developmental language
  • AngularJS
  • Experience with API-based data source
  • Leadership experience
  • Desired Certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
  • Location: Chantilly, VA - On Customer Site

    Salary and Benefit Information

    The likely salary range for this position is $125,528 - $169,832. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
