Fleet Readiness

The United States’ ability to maintain freedom of navigation for ourselves and for our trade partners demands a ready and resilient fleet. GDIT enhances fleet readiness through secure and timely software, actionable data, interoperability with mission partners, and training that enables teams to leverage data.
CAPABILITIES

Aligned to deliver excellence.

Training

GDIT delivers modernized warfighter training that includes curriculum development, relevant courseware, and realistic simulation. We leverage new technology, such as AI, to augment tactical decision aids and protect operators from data overload, while adapting methods in a continuous and evolving process. Since 2023, this training contributed to the success of United States Navy warships in combat operations in the Red Sea and the Eastern Mediterranean.

Mission Engineering and Integration

GDIT supplies skilled personnel who use advanced technology to improve sound engineering and secure software development practices. This expertise allows us to deliver critical systems that enable warfighting capabilities at the tactical edge.

Enterprise IT Services

Our applications enhance data management, security, compliance, and customer support services in traditional IT environments (hardware, software, application, network, etc.) while simultaneously providing forward-thinking solutioning with cloud, AI, and cyber.

Enterprise Business and Logistics

For over 10 years, GDIT has provided access to personnel data for over 330,000 active-duty personnel and 100,000 in the Ready Reserve. Afloat or ashore, Sailors around the globe can ensure they have access to pay and personnel transactions in the field, on ships or via the cloud. This ensures our warfighters focus on the mission while forward deployed.

Four Fundamentals of Modern Fleet Readiness

More than 80% of the world’s commerce is transported by water. Protecting the world’s oceans and seas to enable open commerce is therefore critical to our national security. The United States’ ability to maintain freedom of navigation for ourselves and for our trade partners demands a ready and resilient fleet – from ensuring the freedom of navigation in the Red Sea to being prepared to confront possible adversarial action in the Pacific.
