Margarite Zettervall is the Sales Director of Microsoft’s U.S. Department of Defense Joint business unit. She is responsible for the sales of Microsoft products and cloud services to the Joint DoD vertical. She leads an expert team that works to create the strategy and execution plan of sales, customer success, services, and operations to help the DoD transform their mission with advanced cloud technology solutions.
Prior to this role she served as the Account Executive for the Headquarters Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense and White House accounts. She helped lead the largest productivity acquisition in the history of Microsoft and the DoD – with the Joint Enterprise Licensing Agreement and Commercial Virtual Remote (CVR) Environment deployment.
Before joining Microsoft in 2013, she led teams delivering mission critical solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community while working for Booz Allen Hamilton for 12 years.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and is certified as a Project Management Professional since 2008. Margarite resides in Ashburn, VA with her children.
