Prior to his current role as Solutions Director for GDIT, Dan was a lead solution architect and program manager providing system engineering and architecture support to the Army CIO/G6 and PEO-EIS. Most notably, Dan led the development of the ICAM and Network Security Reference Architectures for the CIO/G6 and provided cloud engineering support for the Army Application Migration Business Office (AAMBO).
Dan has a 30+ year history of service to Army that splits evenly across careers in the military, civilian service and industry. As an enlisted soldier, Dan was a dedicated Pershing professional during the cold war in Europe and then proudly supported both Desert Storm and Desert Shield within the ranks of the 3rd Armored Division. As a Department of Defense civilian, assigned to 5th Signal Command in Europe, Dan managed enterprise programs and plans and supported theater-wide technology insertion initiatives such as establishing the Theater fiber-optic infrastructure and fielding deployable communication packages in support of the EUCOM mission. He closed out his civilian service as the Chief of Enterprise IT Architecture at USAREUR G6.
Dan holds a Master of Science in Information Systems from Bowie University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
