Jay Olsen has more than 30 years of experience as a technical leader in the federal and commercial consulting markets. He leads the Application Services consulting practice at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT). As the Vice President, Application Services, he leads the growth, consulting and go-to-market strategy in the areas of Agile, DevSecOps, Human-centered Design and Cloud-native software development with a focus on developing application solutions to address our customer’s critical mission needs.
Jay has extensive experience in the areas program/project management, full lifecycle application development, digital transformation and solution architecture. He previously was the chief technology officer for the Federal Civilian Health division and served as program manager at SRA International where he led complex software modernization projects for the Food and Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health and Department of Defense.
Jay has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University and is a Certified Scrum Master, is ITIL Certified and has a Computer Graphics Design Certification from the Corcoran School of Art.
