Scott Flanders is the Deputy CIO at the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). As the Deputy CIO, he plans, directs, and oversees resources to ensure the delivery of information technology and information management services that are critical to support the mission, goals, and priorities of the agency. Mr. Flanders has been with the NRC for 29 years and has been a member of the Senior Executive Service since 2004. Throughout his career he has led a diverse portfolio of technical organizations supporting the NRC’s Nuclear Reactor and Nuclear Materials regulatory programs. Prior to joining the Office of the Chief Information Officer, Mr. Flanders served as the Director of the Division of Site Safety and Environmental Analysis in the Office of New Reactors.
