While contract awards span multiple years, the services an agency needs within that term are changing all the time. Like never before, agencies need flexible contracts and technology that is equally flexible and can evolve to changing mission needs.
Dave Merrill, a business area vice president in GDIT’s federal health division, joined Snowflake Federal President Steven Coles on Federal News Now's “Driving Federal Innovation” series to discuss how agencies can respond to changing needs by leaning into cloud platforms.
“The program teams that are implementing the mission need flexibility,” he said. “The mission is always changing, that’s the reality … When I talk about program flexibility, those folks that are implementing the mission technology need to be able to actually pivot toward where that mission need is, and that’s what we’re doing in the field today.”
