Decoding the Cyber Workforce

This summer, GDIT’s own Pamela McComas, Program Manager and Solutions Architect, sat down with Meritalk to discuss the growing cyber skills gap and how that gap is widening in light of the shift to remote working amid the coronavirus pandemic.

In this candid, one-on-one interview, McComas describes how it’s critical for federal agencies to become even more creative as they work to shore up their cyber defenses – from both a technology and talent perspective. Identifying valuable skillsets for incoming cyber workers, finding talent in non-traditional places, and nurturing the talent they already have – are all critical to ensuring agencies have the skilled workforce they need now and into the future.
