Today’s cybersecurity professionals have more data available to them than ever before – from logs to network traffic data, to incident reports and more. Amid a data deluge and a threat landscape growing in complexity and size all the time, it can be difficult to determine what’s valuable and, more importantly, what’s actionable.
That’s why GDIT’s Ryan Deslauriers, our Eclipse Defensive Cyber Digital Accelerator Lead working in the Intelligence and Homeland Security Division, and Nabeela Barbari, our Vice President of Cyber, Law Enforcement, Intelligence and Citizenship, recently sat down to discuss the current environment and how agencies can leverage automation and AI to overcome disconnect between data collection and utilization and stay ahead of adversaries.
“On one of our programs, we created a tool called Evergreen, and what this tool does is it takes data, maps it together, and gives our customer a tool to prioritize risk and prioritize what problems they want to solve, so they can use AI to get to a decision point,” Deslauriers said. “It has been really helpful across multiple customers with things like cyber audits, continuous monitoring, risk assessments and other use cases.”
