Expanded partnership will deliver innovative cybersecurity solutions to federal agencies


FALLS CHURCH, Va. – General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), announced today that it has expanded its technology partnership with Splunk, a Cisco company, through a new strategic collaboration agreement to deliver leading-edge cybersecurity solutions for the U.S. government.

Through this collaboration, GDIT will combine its decades of mission and technology integration expertise with Splunk’s advanced cybersecurity, data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. GDIT will integrate Splunk’s data platforms and offerings into its Digital Accelerators and Mission Solutions portfolio, enabling federal agencies to secure their critical infrastructure, protect devices and data, improve cyber resilience, and drive continuous compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements. The partnership will focus on enhancing the following areas:

  • Building a Security Operations Center (SOC) of the future that leverages agentic AI to detect, isolate and remediate threats quickly.
  • Applying AI to integrate and correlate cyber data to improve visibility and situational awareness.
  • Developing advanced zero trust solutions to protect critical systems.

GDIT has already embedded Splunk’s capabilities on several programs across the government, including delivering a zero trust solution for 187 U.S. Air Force bases that supports more than one million users worldwide and providing cybersecurity services for the Virginia Information Technologies Agency (VITA) which serves more than 8.8 million residents.
