Step One
Register for a GDIT ENGAGE Orientation Session
We offer two sessions every Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). You’ll receive an invitation to orientation the week before you start. Work with your manager to determine which session to attend and where to attend. New hires within the DC Metro area should plan to attend orientation at our Corporate Headquarters at 3150 Fairview Park, Falls Church, VA. New hires in the Intelligence and Homeland Security division in the DC Metro area should plan to attend orientation at our McLearen Rd. location, 13857 McLearen Road, Herndon, VA.
Step Two
Complete I-9 Form and Employment Eligibility Verification
An I-9 Form must be completed by both you and your manager and/or GDIT designee within the first three business days of your start date to ensure compliance with US employment laws. Complete the following action items on or before your start date:
Locate the email invitation to complete your I-9. It was sent to your personal email.
Complete and submit section 1 of the form.
Remote employees will follow the instructions online to set up an appointment at an approved remote site to complete Section 2, bring appropriate documentation to your appointment.
Hybrid and in-person employees will complete Section 2 with their manager during their first three days of employment, bring appropriate documentation with you on your first day.
