FALLS CHURCH, Va. – General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) announced today the promotion of Kamal Narang to senior vice president for federal health. As a new member of the executive leadership team, Narang will lead strategy and execution of GDIT’s growing federal health business.

Narang brings more than 25 years of experience in federal health. Over the last six years, he has served as GDIT’s vice president and general manager for federal health, leading a team of over 3,000 professionals supporting more than 20 federal health agencies worldwide. Under his leadership, GDIT’s federal health business has grown to more than $1 billion in annual revenue.

Narang has been recognized with many industry awards including the FCW Federal 100, Washington Executive Top Health Care Execs to Watch,* FORUM IT100* Hall of Fame and Washington Business Journal Minority Business Leader Award. He currently serves on the board of The Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health and the Professional Services Council.
