Information Systems Sr Manager

The Systems Administrator is critical in ensuring that the performance, and function of all IT infrastructure is consistent. This involves managing the functional requirements, design, and operational performance of all IT Systems. The Information Systems Sr Manager will protect our critical systems and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in developing the overall IT strategy. The Information Systems Sr Manager will empower breakthrough innovations, take on challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and be responsible for results. The Information Systems Sr Manager will also work closely with other IT professionals to meet the changing needs of the customer.

HOW AN INFORMATION SYSTEMS SR MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages employees engaged in providing information system solutions and technical support in one or more functional areas.
  • Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
  • Handle critical IT tasks and systems to provide critical services to the customer and enable them to achieve a technological advantage
  • Design, organize, modify, and support an organization’s computer systems, including operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, email systems, and user hardware (laptops, PCs) to include both virtual and or physical IT environments.
  • Work with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
  • Monitor data-center health using existing management tools, and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when needed
  • Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, and security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
  • Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups
  • Quickly resolve any system failures and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain all environments by avoiding, removing, mitigating of hardware and or software vulnerability footprint.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: BA/BS in Information Technology or Business related field or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.

● Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience
● Certification Requirements: DoD 8570.01 certification required – CASP Certified, or higher

● Security Clearance Level: Must have fully adjudicated Top Secret-SCI security clearance

● Location: On Customer Site
● US Citizenship Required

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $153,000 - $207,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
