Responsibilities:
• Creates and maintains detailed system documentation.
• Provides system/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.
• Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processes.
• Download, stage and deploy systems-related security policies and updates to maintain information system compliance with DISA security policies and procedures (STIGs, IAVAs, etc.)
• Develop scripts (PowerShell) to perform recurring systems administration tasks, automate installs, gather metrics, etc.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory environments with an emphasis in the following areas:
• Identity management
• PKI
• Latest used version of Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL.
• Group policy deployment and design
• Active directory design to include DNS configuration, Sites and Services, etc.
• MECM configuration and administration
• Software deployment/upgrades
• Windows 10/11 operating system maintenance and deployments
• Administer VMware virtual environments to include ESXi hosts, vCenter appliances, VxRail HCIs, and VSANs.
• Deploy Operating System updates
• Participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
• 3+ years Systems Engineering experience is required.
• BA/BS degree, may substitute additional years of experience
• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
• Experience with identity and access controls.
• Experience with infrastructure including any or all the following: data center operations, monitoring, server hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux), web servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat), databases (MS SQL, MySQL), virtualization (VMware), networking, storage, monitoring, etc.
• Experience troubleshooting DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.
• Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• May be required to work evening, weekend, and holiday hours as required
• Must meet DoD 8570 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges
• Depending on job assignment, additional specific certifications may be required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• VMware VCAP, VCDX
• Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, MCITP-EA
• PowerShell scripting

The likely salary range for this position is $83,429 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
