NETWORK SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT 

Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Network Solutions Architect SME at GDIT. Here, you’ll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.

As a Network Solutions Architect SME, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the customer. You will play a crucial role in supporting our customer and their missions, providing guidance and implementation of network configurations.
● Lead/Manage/Support network architecture to best support the customers needs.

● Collaborate with several of the projects requirements across a vast array of equipment.

​● Develop and maintain a complex Services and MPLS network across multiple platforms and vendors. VMWare, Cisco devices, VLANs, Network Address Translation, Splunk, are just a few devices and tools at your disposal.

● Attend meetings with the customer to help drive them to mission success based on their requirements.

● Drive key outcomes and innovations.
● Utilize your networking and problem solving skills.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Network Solutions Architect SME must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Science
● Experience: 15+ years of related experience
● Technical skills: Cisco, Juniper, and other types of switches and routers, Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS, VMWare, ASA, VPN, NAT, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, numerous test sets, Telecommunications equipment, VoIP, Cisco Call Manager, Intrusion Detection Systems, Snort, SolarWinds, Splunk
● Security clearance level: TS//SCI with Full Scope Poly
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: Must be able to lead and guide a small team, work well with others, demonstrate the ability to change direction based on new requirements.
