Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst Senior to join the Corporate Services team as part of our Supply Chain organization. This Analyst will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating strategic procurements that are aligned with enterprise strategies and objectives. This team supports both direct and indirect transactions and specializes in real estate, facilities, marketing, HR, freight, lab products and services, ship services, and learning and development.  The team provides end to end procurement support including intake, RFx, supplier selection, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, negotiations, purchase orders, and ongoing vendor management.

HOW A SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Performs supply chain and logistics functions, which may include, but are not limited to, material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.
  • Manage the procurement process for both indirect (internal GDIT customers) and direct (government customers) procurements.  
  • Sourcing execution in compliance with the various regulatory requirements imposed upon GDIT Supply Chain by its customers, including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and leverage the market strength of GDIT, recognize market conditions, and strive to maximize value obtained from each procurement action.
  • Management of RFQ/RFP’s from drafting, bidder communication, negotiation, and execution.
  • Completion of Compliance sourcing packages (includes single/sole source justification, price analysis, individual screening requirements, etc.)
  • Ensures high internal customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Supports the implementation of process improvements and streamlined procedures whenever possible.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

● Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience OR 9+ years of equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years in government contracts and/or strategic procurement

● Required Technical Skills and Abilities:

  • MUST have direct acquisition experience procuring in accordance with FAR.
  • Experience in written/oral communications at all levels of the company.
  • Ability to research, analyze, compile, and assess business and financial data.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented individual who works quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects related to the purchasing process
  • Performs work on contracts that require U.S. citizenship.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $79,747 - $90,275. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
