You will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) with a Veteran first vision to transform the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) with greater visibility into claims processing. This high-impact solution accelerates the delivery of benefits to Veterans and their families.
As a AI/ML Engineering Technical Manager, you will be expected to lead the AI and Agentic AI solutions. This will involve defining data design patterns for building and maturing large language models (LLMs).
You will work closely with Business Analysts and Solution Architect to investigate, implement, and calibrate our AI solutions to achieve the desired VBA outcomes. You will support the establishment of AI performance baselines for generating clinical summaries to improve accuracy and will require continuous reviews with VBA stakeholders.

The likely salary range for this position is $166,600 - $225,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
