Systems Administrator - $5,000 incentive - Relocation assistance available

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command (COCOM) responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other COCOMS, Services, and defense agencies.

The Strategic Command Information Technology Lifecycle Support (SCITLS) program will be a key component ensuring mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

As a Systems Administrator, you’ll help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter by overseeing the development, configuration, enhancement, and administration of the IBM/Apptio SaaS enterprise applications for USSTRATCOM’s  IT Financial Management Services solution. You’ll be a key contributor to USSTRATCOM’s FinOps practice, administering the enterprise service behind TBM to optimize IT value and achieve financial targets for the SCITLS mission.

HOW A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Manages and enhances the IT Financial Management Services SaaS application suite, to include configuration settings, report development, and overall platform stability and functionality. 
• Researches and integrates new concepts, vendor solutions, and strategies into USSTRATCOM’s on-premise cloud and off premise cloud IT Financial Management Services SaaS deployments.
• Ensures data accuracy, completeness, and integration of IT Financial Management Services tools. 
• Creates, maintains, and troubleshoots reports using the IT Financial Management Services SaaS to provide insights into IT costs and performance. 
• Administers user roles and permissions for SaaS controlled access.
• Works with various stakeholders, including IT, finance, and business teams, to gather requirements and ensure the enterprise service supports their evolving needs.
• Identifies and resolves issues within the SaaS platform, including those involving data discrepancies or functional problems. 
• Monitors and proposes implementation of new tool features and updates

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree (or equivalent experience)

Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience with SaaS administration

Required Technical Skills:

• Configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of SaaS
• Data management and report development support

Required Certification 1 (Must possess or be able to obtain within 9 months of start): ITIL® 4: IT Service Management (ITSM) Certification

Required Certification 2 (Must possess or be able to obtain within 30 days of start one of the following):

• CompTia Cloud+
• -or- GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
• -or- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
• -or- ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility required.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certification in Cloud Services or SaaS management.
• Apptio Certified Practitioner: ApptioOne Maintenance & Improvement
• Other Apptio certifications a plus
