As a Logistics Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of 1st TSC MSS. You will play a crucial role in providing logistic support by providing the following:

As a Logistics Analyst at GDIT, you'll make a significant impact on the mission of the 1st TSC MSS by providing vital logistic support through the following:

  • Manage customer logistics requirements via analysis, organization, planning, and administration of provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities.
  • Assist the G4 cell in developing, updating, and implementing local and theater policies and procedures for distribution operations.
  • Support the Theater Support Command GCSS-A Sustainment Cell Property Book Lead by monitoring theater priorities, maintaining material flow, and managing the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) operations.
  • Maintain continuous liaison with staff directorates, contractors, commands, and coalition nation liaisons.
  • Attend staff meetings to provide estimates and analyses for situational awareness of combat and logistics operations.
  • Track and validate equipment loans, maintenance costs, and manage customer data requirements related to GCSS-A, ASL Management, Receipt Operations, and other logistics metrics.
  • Conduct weekly logistics research and present trend analyses using relevant logistics support websites.
  • Develop, analyze, and report trends to improve Requisition Wait Time (RWT) and double handling of materials.
  • Analyze proposed changes in logistics policies and business processes to recommend improvements for USARCENT and coalition partners.
  • Produce and disseminate Excess Management Metrics Report and Detailed Customer Wait Time (CWT)/ Requisition Wait Time (RWT) Metrics.
  • Provide logistics assistance, ensure proper closure of supply DoDAACs, and assist in processing Exchange Pricing requests.
  • Review and provide executive level analysis and recommendations for more efficient logistics operations.
  • Update and convert complex logistical data into PowerPoint presentations as required.
  • Assist with the development of logistical doctrines and TTPs, particularly for multinational logistics.
  • Prepare standard products such as talking points, briefs, memorandums, and FRAGOs as needed.
  • Support deliberate and crisis planning efforts, including the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP).
  • Coordinate logistics operations with USCENTCOM, USARCENT, DLA, AMC, and other organizations.
  • Serve as a SME in logistics operations, contingency planning, and multinational logistics programs.
  • Generate and manage Form 1-3a in AGATRS, serve as the ACSA point of contact, and compile usage reports.
  • Maintain accurate and complete historical files for audits and inspections.
  • Provide financial analysis, advice, and projections on logistics activities.
  • Maintain a document library on SharePoint and assist in developing courses of action for managing equipment and materials.
  • Oversee the movement, distribution, and storage of materials.
  • Resolve transportation, logistics systems, import/export, and customer issues.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training, and safety records.
  • Coordinate logistical functions for the life cycle of items, including acquisition, distribution, delivery, recycling, and disposal.
  • Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and minimize costs from logistics activities.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your supply chain and logistics expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Logistics Analyst must have:

●Ten years of experience in logistics and supply chain management at a Brigade Level or higher.

●Three years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within the USCENTCOM AOR.

●Possess a strategic level understanding of the GCSS-A system and knowledge of SSF/GCSS-A activities, history, and system functions; data manipulation skills and Standard Query Language (SQL) writing abilities.

●Possess clear understanding and comprehension of current and projected financial, logistical and support concepts at the Corps and Theater levels.

●Be skilled in MS Office automation to include SharePoint, and a clear understanding of Knowledge Management (KM) principles.

●Possess a familiarity in retail and wholesale supply systems, functions, and policies at the strategic level.

●Possess senior level (Brigade or Higher) knowledge and understanding of certain systems and how they tie in together for research: GFEBS, FCM, LIW, ASEIP, SAAS-MOD, GCSS-A.

● Must have a minimum DoD SECRET Clearance

● Must be able to meet CENTCOM medical and deployment standards

60 hour work week w/ OT after the first 48 hours.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $64,600 - $87,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
