Job Description

Apply your expertise to advance the mission and optimize our business strategy as a Contracts Administrator Advisor to join our Federal Health division contracts team. Here, you’ll be part of a caring team focused on helping our clients solve some of their largest challenges, while growing dynamically as an individual and professional.

This position will focus on supporting the program in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. The ideal individual will be experienced in administering Federal Heath IT contracts and task orders; have expertise in risk and OCI assessments; have an ability to apply strategic resolutions to address business and programmatic risks; as well as identifying and analyzing complex and strategic contract matters. This position requires a significantly agile mindset, clear communication style with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen.

HOW A CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Ensures internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
  • Negotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution
  • Serves as a point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems
  • Reviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviews
  • Reviews and approves solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customers
  • Reviews and negotiates of various types of agreements
  • Interprets contractual work requirements and obligations
  • Makes recommendations regarding contracts implementation
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices
  • Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree. In lieu of degree, 12+ years of direct experience required.
  • Required Experience: 8+ years of experience in US Federal Acquisition
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities. Highly experienced with various contract types.
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Preferred Skills and Abilities: Experience administering VA contracts such as T4NG is desired
  • Location: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT Falls Church, VA office. Will require working onsite (3) days a week.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $96,900 - $131,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
