USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

HOW Desktop Computing/End User Services Manager WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Manages team of desktop support and desktop engineering personnel, supervising and coordinating activities to execute desktop computing and support services.
  • Leads team to provide efficient and timely Tier II and III support to ensure that service levels are achieved in line with contract requirements and customer expectations.
  • Ensures all desktops meet minimum requirements.
  • Coordinates tasks for testing software, monitoring desktop services, allocating resources, tracking data, preparing reports, and training staff.
  • Manages staffing levels and determines staffing needs to ensure that team skill mix addresses the customer’s critical priorities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility
  • Required Certifications: Security+ or Cloud+ or CCSP & Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation – ITSM Certification within the first 9 months
  • Location: Offutt AFB, NE

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $144,410 - $195,378. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
