Job Description

GDIT is seeking an experienced RMF Analyst to support the implementation and management of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for USAREUR-AF information systems. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and securing systems throughout the Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) lifecycle.

HOW A CYBER ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Develop and maintain RMF documentation, including System Security Plans (SSP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M).
  • Coordinate and lead security assessments in support of obtaining and maintaining an Authorization to Operate (ATO).
  • Perform security control assessments using NIST 800-53 and related standards.
  • Interface with system owners, ISSOs, ISSMs, and other cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Track system vulnerabilities and ensure timely mitigation or remediation.
  • Utilize eMASS or similar tools to manage RMF packages and artifacts.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of implemented security controls.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree; additional 4 years of experience can be substituted for degree requirement
  • Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information assurance roles.
  • Required Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of the RMF process and DoD cybersecurity policies. Experience with tools such as eMASS, ACAS, HBSS, or Nessus. Understanding of NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 frameworks.
  • Certification: Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISM).
  • Security Clearance Level: Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Experience supporting Army or other DoD branches. Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or DoD Cloud offerings).
  • Location: Wiesbaden Germany

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $91,811 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
