Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, oversee procurement and logistics operations, and ensure effective software license management. This role bridges IT operations, supply chain logistics, and financial analysis to support the organization’s technology infrastructure and strategic sourcing initiatives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

IT Asset Management

  • Maintain accurate records of all IT hardware and software assets using asset management tools like ServiceNow.

  • Track asset lifecycle from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of physical and digital assets.

  • Coordinate with IT support teams to ensure timely deployment, recovery, and retirement of assets.

Logistics & Inventory Coordination

  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics for IT equipment, including shipping, receiving, and warehousing.

  • Coordinate with vendors, couriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and distribution of assets.

  • Maintain inventory levels and reorder thresholds for critical IT supplies and equipment.

Procurement Analysis

  • Collaborate with finance and IT leadership to forecast procurement needs and budget planning.

  • Evaluate vendor quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage purchase orders and contracts.

  • Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and assist in vendor performance evaluations.

Software & License Management

  • Maintain a centralized repository of software licenses, subscriptions, and entitlements.

  • Monitor license usage and ensure compliance with vendor agreements and audits.

  • Coordinate renewals, upgrades, and decommissioning of software assets.

  • Support software deployment processes and liaise with cybersecurity teams for compliance.

 
Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in IT asset management, procurement, or logistics.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and vendor management skills.

Security Clearance Level:

  • TS/SCI

Preferred Skills:

  • Preferred:

  • ITIL, CompTIA A+, or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP) certification.

  • Experience with software license management platforms such as ServiceNow.

  • Knowledge of contract negotiation and lifecycle management.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $127,500 - $172,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
