Positions are available at the following three levels:

HOW THE SENIOR UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Managing and troubleshooting Avaya and MSTP (Managed Secure Telephony Platform) systems.
  • Overseeing all engineering activities related to MSTP configuration and ensuring proper endpoint connectivity.
  • Resolving technical issues within systems, troubleshooting performance problems, and ensuring operations efficiently.
  • Ensures that Avaya and MSTP solutions are configured and optimized to meet business needs.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Avaya, Managed Secure Telephony Platform (MSTP), Cisco, Microsoft TAC, Power Bi, SAFe
  • Bachelors and minimum of 5 years’ of related experience
  • Substitutions Allowed: Certificate of Training-2 years of undergraduate work and 5 years of related experience; No Degree- 10 years of related experience; MA/MS- 4 years of related experience

    HOW THE UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER MID WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

    • Manage and support the Microsoft Domain environment for Legacy and EVoIP, ensuring its functionality, security, and overall performance. 
    • Oversee and maintain Call Recording systems, ensuring they are properly configured and operational.
    • Experience in one or more of the following: Microsoft Domain, Windows Adm (DNS, IIS, DHCP, GPM etc.), VCenter and VMware, Calabrio, Operation Manager (OpMgr)
    • Bachelors and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in related industry.
    • Substitutions Allowed: Certificate of Training-2 years of undergraduate work and 2 years of related experience; No Degree- 5 years of related experience; MA/MS Degree-0 years

    HOW THE UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS ENGINEER JR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

    • Manage and support the Microsoft Domain environment for Legacy and EVoIP, ensuring its functionality, security, and overall performance. 
    • Oversee and maintain Call Recording systems, ensuring they are properly configured and operational.
    • Create and manage O&M accounts, troubleshooting and resolving related issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal system performance.
    • Experience in one or more of the following: Microsoft Domain, Windows Adm (DNS, IIS, DHCP, GPM etc.), VCenter and VMware, Calabrio, Operation Manager (OpMgr)
    • Bachelors and a minimum of 1 year of experience.
    • Substitutions Allowed: Certificate of Training-2 years of undergraduate work; No Degree- 4 years of related experienc

    CLEARANCE: Top Secret (TS) level with the ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) + CI Poly

    LOCATION: 75% TRAVEL and 25% Onsite in Washington, DC

    Salary and Benefit Information

    The likely salary range for this position is $104,409 - $141,259. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
