Field Technician III

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Field Technician III you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on Field Technician III joining our team to proper equipment installation as well as some AUTOCAD support.
HOW A FIELD TECHNICIAN III WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment.
● Communicate effectively with Project Lead to notify of any installation issues.
● Work well in a team environment
● Will require ability to read installation drawings and configure equipment as requested meeting all NIWC guidelines.
● AUTOCAD experience a plus to help drafting team in times of need
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Required Technical Skills: Effective communication and ability to follow electrical requirements put forth by the customer
● Security Clearance Level: Secret
● Required Skills and Abilities: Communication and Problem Solving
● Location: On Customer Site
● US Citizenship Required

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $31.47 - $42.57. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
