Job Description

GDIT and the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System (NSIPS) is seeking a Test Engineer to join their team.

NSIPS is the Navy's single, field-entry, electronic personnel system for all active duty and reserve Sailors. The program overall will maintain Navy O&M for Navy Personnel systems.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

You will work closely with developers, system analysts, and other members of the test department to develop and maintain test documentation and test cases for the United States Navy Personnel System.

  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting and analysis on the development of systems.

  • Provide support in the development, implementation and maintenance of test processes and diagnostic programs.

  • Develop and document Testing processes and procedures for the environment as necessary

  • Create, update, and maintain a Master Test Plan

Qualifications:

  • BS or equivalent experience

  • 5+ yrs familiarity, training or experience with PeopleSoft 8.56

  • Testing experience with: Extensible Markup Language (XML), XML schema, Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Web Services Description Language (WSDL), Oracle PL/SQL scripting and tools is highly desired.

  • Understanding of MicroFocus ALM/Quality Center and MicroFocus Dimensions/Phire are desired.

  • Experience with Automated Testing is highly desired.

  • ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification or equivalent highly desired.

  • US citizenship; Secret clearance required

  • Location; Client site, New Orleans, LA

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
