Job Description

System Integration Lead

GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program.  GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective Mission Command training, Leadership Training / Development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, First Person Simulations (Gaming), and constructive simulations supported training from Squad through Echelon Above Brigade (EAB).  Technical integration between simulation and C4I systems.  Establish /maintain training and exercise networks.  Accomplish Risk Management Framework Certification and Accreditation security and risk management activities.

HOW THE SYSTEMS INTEGRATION LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Supervise Futures Lab operations to integrate C2IS and Sim-Stim HW/SW updates, validate training scenarios, and test emerging technologies
  • Supervise Operational Readiness Tests (ORT) to configure, test, validate and document the integration requirements for Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) and Command and Control Information Systems (C2IS)
  • Supervise SMEs during conduct of ORT, TSP product updates and thread tests during exercise preparation
  • Facilitate Training Support Package (TSP) product updates to include but not limited to Capability Documents (CD) and Master Tables
  • Facilitate Professional Development and Certification Program (PDCP) activities
  • Perform other duties as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BS/BA (subject immaterial); MS/MA Computer Science, Simulations, System Engineering, or related discipline preferred
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of military training and training support operations; MTC experience required; three years of experience, within the last five years, with military simulations and networks; Battalion or higher operations or training assignment or Civilian or Corporate equivalent preferred; Former FA57 or CP36 with at least five years’ experience highly preferred
  • Required Technical Skills: Hands on expertise and understanding of C2IS and Sim-Stim systems and integration; robust knowledge of the Army and Joint Event Life Cycle and planning processes, simulation architecture and both simulation and tactical network architectures; superb understanding on MTC operations
  • Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance required with the ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance with SCI
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Superb presentation and communication skills; strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on JELC / ELM requirements and Simulation objectives; Must be able to lead a planning team to create a high-fidelity, realistic training event in a Live, Virtual, and Constructive environment to meet customer requirements
  • Location: On Customer Site

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $65,250 - $87,400. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
