Job Description

GDIT has an exciting opportunity to support NATO Allied SOFCOM in Mons, Belgium as a member of our Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services (EMITS) program.

The IT Project Manager will lead an effort to develop a cohesive approach to NATO SOFCOM Framework Nation’s ERP structure to provide Human Resources, Finance, and IT support to customers. This includes conducting an analysis of the current systems in use, comprehensive requirements gathering, developing an analysis of alternatives, and preparing a draft procurement and implementation plan.

HOW THE PROJECT MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Lead effort and provide project management for the ERP project
  • Plan and design complex business solutions and system modifications, and make recommendations to improve and support business activities
  • Provide As-is Process Mapping for HR, Finance, and IT operations
  • Provide an Analysis of Alternatives for ERP solution(s)
  • Conduct deep dives with requirements owners to fully understand and capture requirements
  • Engage with the local knowledge management team for as-is solution analysis
  • Conduct market research and engage with third party vendors for capability offerings and coordinate capability briefs with the customer
  • Prepare draft procurement and implementation plans
  • Gather business requirements through a variety of techniques such as work sessions and interviews.
  • Analyze and document complex business requirements and processes; communicate these requirements to appropriate parties (mainly the development team and the business owners).
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and lead meetings with clients and SMEs to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
  • Participate in technical reviews, UAT, and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried through the entire project.
  • Create complex test case scenarios to be used in testing, regression testing; conduct/monitor/oversee/document the testing of business applications to verify that all client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
  • Participate in migration activities as needed.
  • Provide time estimates for project related tasks and assists in prioritizing tasks.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of demonstrated Project Management or Business Process Consultant experience
  • Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification; ITIL 4 Foundation certification; Must possess DOD 8140 compliant certification (i.e. Security+ CE or equivalent)
  • Security Clearance Level: US Secret (SSBI) Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI as required
  • Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Strong analysis and problem solving experience (requirements analysis, documentation)
    • Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills (such as MS Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project, etc.)
    • Knowledge and experience with COTS processes and tools for ERP and Financial management such as ServiceNow, OpenGov, OneStream, CGI Advantage, and others.
    • Knowledge and experience with designing and managing SharePoint sites/lists
    • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

This project will be supported on a TDY basis onsite at customer locations in Mons and Chievres, Belgium. The anticipated duration of the project is 3 months.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $105,622 - $27,600. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
