Job Description

Facilities Manager

GDIT is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Facilities Manager to support our Mission Training Complex (MTC).  The ideal candidate acts as a recognized technical expert in base labor category description. Functions as the highest-level individual contributor in personnel, equipment and facilities management.

HOW AN ASSISTANT FACILITIES MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Provide light maintenance of building facilities, manage inventory and supply actions, configure the building for different training events, and assist the government/contractor team in managing work orders and building maintenance as required
  • Manages facilities projects and plans facilities utilization. Supervises exempt and non-exempt staff
  • Coordinate inventories and supervise supply staff
  • Leads building and equipment set-up, recovery and maintenance
  • Closely coordinates with other Team Leads before, during, and after exercises
  • Maintains and operates the building's A/V equipment
  • Helps to update and maintain building maintenance and use database

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: BA/BS or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience
  • Required Technical Skills:
    • A/V equipment knowledge
    • Basic database input and management
    • MS Office Suite
    • Basic network wiring
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Communication, problem solving, coordination, inter-team cooperation
  • Security Clearance Level: Secret

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $75,067 - $83,002. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
