Job Description

Senior Intelligence Planner 

 

Our work depends on a Senior-level Intelligence Planner, to serve in support of defense analytical and administrative requirements for a Combatant Command (CCMD), Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC). 

 

HOW A SENIOR-LEVEL INTELLIGENCE PLANNER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT 

  • Assist USCENTOM J2 Intelligence Plans Division leadership and staff with planning, organizing, developing, coordinating, and executing intelligence planning activities. 

  • Integrate intelligence support into USCENTCOM Campaign Plans, joint operational plans, and exercises. 

  • Support all mandated assessments, including the Theater Campaign Assessment, Annual Joint Assessment, Global Campaign Plan Assessments, and operational assessments. 

  • Support the development and execution of the USCENTCOM J2's intelligence engagement program with regional partners. 

  • Coordinate all activities, including foreign disclosure review and adjudication, for dissemination of intelligence products to and from foreign partners, U.S. Government agencies, and other stakeholders. 

  • Demonstrate intelligence planning knowledge, skills, and abilities IAW DoD standards to support all steps of the Joint Operational Planning Process and Intelligence Planning Process. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:  

  • Security Clearance Level: TS / SCI, with polygraph eligibility. 

  • US Citizenship Required  

  • Desired Education and Experience: Master’s degree with 12 yrs related experience or Bachelor’s degree with a total of 17 yrs experience as a substitute to the Master’s degree. At least a portion of your experience must be in the last 2 yrs. 

  • Required:  Strong understanding of the Joint Operational Planning Process and Intelligence Planning Process. Successfully complete the DIA JIP-I certification exam within one year.  

  • Preferred: USCENTCOM experience.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
