GDIT is seeking qualified candidates to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.
Qualified candidates will provide integrated solutions supporting concurrent test, training, and operations (CTTO) within the Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) mission execution platform and enterprise communications and information technology (IT) environment.
Be a part of the GDIT Team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges! General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Configuration Manager to support the IRES program in Huntsville, Alabama.
Duties Include:
Develop and maintain IT asset and configuration management processes and policies
Implement and manage automated discovery tools, including (i.e. BMC Discovery and Cisco FindIT), to track and update IT assets and configuration items
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify and document configuration items and their relationships
Perform regular audits and reconciliations of IT assets and configuration data
Provide training and support to staff on asset and configuration management processes and tools
Generate reports and metrics to monitor the health and compliance of IT assets and configurations
Assist in the development and implementation of IT asset lifecycle management strategies
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management and configuration management.
ITIL Foundation Certification (required)
Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM) (preferred)
Active SECRET clearance with eligibility for TOP SECRET/SCI

The likely salary range for this position is $94,676 - $128,092. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
