Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Senior PKI Engineer who will be a key part of a team that designs, builds, and supports an enterprise Government high value asset system using cutting edge products and tools. The position is located at a modern, GDIT operated data center facility located in Manassas, VA.

The Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of system operation and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience with: 

  • PKI

  • Red Hat Linux Administration

  • 5+ years of demonstrable experience in administering a highly available customer serving infrastructure

And significant experience in some of the following and the willingness to learn:

  • Windows Server Administration

  • Red Hat Certificate Service   

  • Red Hat IDM         

  • Palo Alto Firewalls

  • Active Directory Administration

  • F5 LTMs

  • Cisco switching and routing

  • Splunk

  • Ansible

  • VMware

  • CORTEX XDR

  • NetScout

  • NetApp Storage Administration

  • LDAP

  • PKI / TLS

  • Nessus / Security Center

  • FISMA

  • SharePoint

  • Technical Writing

Must have:

  • Active Top Secret Clearance 

  • Willingness for Periodic On-Call Duty 

  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher compliant certification, e.g. GSEC, Security+

  • Be a self-starter who is not afraid to speak up and voice their opinions as well as a skilled generalist who has the confidence to take on whatever projects are needed.

  • Ability to write clear, detailed, and accurate system documentation

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
