Security Integration Engineer

Experience must include expert knowledge of professional security engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, and procedures; and ability to implement enterprise level security standards and execute sound techniques to solve complex interrelated problems. Have a high degree of skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, investigate, and resolve complex engineering issues or problems as they relate to security. Have in-depth knowledge of agency, AF, DoD and national-level doctrine, regulations, policies, guidelines, requirements, and initiatives related to assigned programs and projects.

• Understand the importance of meeting other engineers to build a professional relationship

• Able to adapt to a changing work environment and realign priorities for the customers vision

• Demonstrate self-motivation in understanding cloud managed services

• Be ready to be highly collaborative and work closely with team/partners

• Work with external work centers on ways forward on data ingest into visualization platform

• Attend weekly meetings to state work completed and forecasted tasks

• Work with Information System Owners or representative on establishing solutions for data transfer

• Able to review and edit platform configuration files and user input launch files

• Prepare connections for data ingest and test results for valid metrics

• Have a good understanding of basic AWS modules and concepts, EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, VPC, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.

• Understand or be willing to learn Cribl, Splunk, HBSS, ACAS, Elastic, Git, and Linux CLI

• Have an understanding of programing language and logic flow

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree and 5+ years of experience

• IAT or IAM Level III certification required: CISSP (or Associate), CASP+, CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP

• TS/SCI Clearance
