Experience must include expert knowledge of professional security engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, and procedures; and ability to implement enterprise level security standards and execute sound techniques to solve complex interrelated problems. Have a high degree of skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to identify, investigate, and resolve complex engineering issues or problems as they relate to security. Have in-depth knowledge of agency, AF, DoD and national-level doctrine, regulations, policies, guidelines, requirements, and initiatives related to assigned programs and projects.
HOW AN INFORMATION SECUIRTY ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Understand the importance of meeting other engineers to build a professional relationship
Able to adapt to a changing work environment and realign priorities for the customers vision
Demonstrate self-motivation in understanding cloud managed services
Be ready to be highly collaborative and work closely with team/partners
Work with external work centers on ways forward on data ingest into visualization platform
Attend weekly meetings to state work completed and forecasted tasks
Work with Information System Owners or representative on establishing solutions for data transfer
Able to review and edit platform configuration files and user input launch files
Prepare connections for data ingest and test results for valid metrics
Have a good understanding of basic AWS modules and concepts, EC2, S3, RDS, Route53, VPC, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.
Understand or be willing to learn Cribl, Splunk, HBSS, ACAS, Elastic, Git, and Linux CLI
Have an understanding of programing language and logic flow
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree and 5+ years of experience
IAT or IAM Level III certification required: CISSP (or Associate), CASP+, CISM, GSLC, CCISO, CCNP Security, CISA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
TS/SCI Clearance

The likely salary range for this position is $82,450 - $111,550. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
