GDIT has immediate career opportunity for an IA Analyst to support our NETCOM customer at Ft. Huachuca, AZ.
HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction.
Support the design, development, integration, and technical and operational support to specified portion of the Army Department of Defense Information Networks (DoDIN-A).
Provide maintenance and tracking of existing packages as well as the development of new packages as required for support of existing and emerging requirements.
Support NETCOM in applying architecture to Army Enterprise programs at various life cycle stages.
Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks.
Participate in the development of technical plans, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
Perform information assurance integration, planning, analysis, and documentation of enterprise systems.
Develop cybersecurity documentation and system authorization artifacts (System Security Plan, lifecycle documentation, continuous monitoring plan, Security Assessment Plan, Security Assessment Report, Risk Assessment, Information System Security Plans, etc.)
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Knowledge of the DoD cybersecurity policy requirements set forth in DoDI 8500.01, “Cybersecurity,” and DoDI 8510.01, “Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems” and their successors, as well as Army Regulation (AR) 25-2 Army Cybersecurity and AR 25-1 Army Information Technology.
Knowledge of Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) items identified during security assessments and continuous monitoring activities.
Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, systems, and content defense in depth implementation and monitoring.
Knowledge of DoD security hardening, collection, and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS SCAP, Nessus, etc.) and experience with security architectures, firewalls, and network access
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of Microsoft Visio
Possess excellent technical writing, critical thinking/analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
Education: BA/BS or equivalent experience, DoD Manual 8140.03 Certification: (Security+, SecurityX / CASP+, GSEC, or CISSP), and Computing Environment Certification; Microsoft Intermediate Certification or equivalent within 6 months of hire
Required Experience: 3 years of related experience
Required Technical Skills: Risk Management Framework (RMF) Knowledge Service
Security Clearance Level: Secret
Required Skills and Abilities: Cybersecurity documentation and system authorization artifacts (System Security Plan, lifecycle documentation, continuous monitoring plan, Security Assessment Plan, Security Assessment Report, Risk Assessment, etc.).
Preferred Skills: Current understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, procedures, and operational constructs.

The likely salary range for this position is $76,500 - $103,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
