Our work depends on Senior Contracts Administrator joining our DELTA+ business sector (Diplomacy, Environmental Protection Agency, Law Enforcement, Treasury Agencies, National Aeronautics and Space Administration and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration +) in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. This team member will provide support and counsel to our program and proposal teams while ensuring GDIT's compliance with contractual terms and conditions and applicable law.

HOW A SENIOR CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Ensures internal contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives
  • Negotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution
  • Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems
  • Reviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviews
  • Reviews and approves solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customers
  • Reviews and negotiates various types of agreements
  • Interprets contractual work requirements and obligations
  • Makes recommendations regarding contracts implementation
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices
  • Participates in special projects as required
  • Strong customer interaction


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree. In lieu of degree, 9+ years of related Contracts Administration experience required.
  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related Contracts Administration experience
  • Required Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • U.S. persons required
  • Required Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as, advanced analytical, critical thinking, and negotiation abilities. Highly experienced with various contract types and task orders. Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements. Ability to operate and negotiate independently. Experience with risk and OCI assessments.
  • Location: This is a hybrid role working at our GDIT Facility located in either Falls Church, VA or Huntsville, AL. This position requires working onsite 3 days a week minimum.

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $79,747 - $104,650. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
