GDIT is seeking a Navy AN/USQ-82(V) (DMS/FODMS/GEDMS) (Electronics Tech to help support the MARMC program in Norfolk, Virginia.
This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided

Job Description:
1) AN/USQ-82(V) (DMS/FODMS/GEDMS)
a) GEDMS Classroom training or NEC V73B (Legacy 4739).
b) General Experience: Minimum of six (6) years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and assessing shipboard Navigation systems.
c) Specialized Experience: Minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing and assessing all variants of AN/USQ-82 Data Multiplexing System (DMS/FODMS/GEDMS).
2) ALARM & WARNING (VARIOUS)
a) General Experience: Minimum of six (6) years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and assessing shipboard Alarm and Warning.
b) Specialized Experience: Minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience troubleshooting, repairing and assessing all alarm and warning variants.
3) STC-2/ISTC-3/MARCOM/IVCN AND IVN
a) Classroom training for STC-2/IVCS/MARCOM/IVCN or IVN Telephone Systems
b) General Experience: Minimum of six (6) years’ experience troubleshooting, repairing and assessing shipboard phone systems.
c) Specialized Experience: Minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience on at least one of the phone systems in 3.1.B.3.
4) ANNOUNCING SYSTEMS (AN-SIA114/117/119) AND DIAS
a) General Experience: Minimum of six (6) years in-depth knowledge troubleshooting, repairing and assessing shipboard announcing systems.
b) Specialized Experience: Minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience on multiple system variants listed in 3.1.B.4.
5) SITE TV
a) Classroom training for the SITE System (NEC V77B).
b) General Experience: Minimum of six (6) years in-depth knowledge troubleshooting, repairing and assessing shipboard announcing systems
c) Specialized Experience: Minimum of three (3) years hands-on experience with SITE TV.
Qualifications:
US Citizen
Secret clearance
AA/AS, 3+ years experience or equivalent
5+ years of directly related experience

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $29.75 - $40.25. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
