Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Global Mobility Analyst that will be responsible for administration of expatriate compensation earnings and payments; and general expatriate management services. 

The Global Mobility Analyst will lead administration of expatriate compensation payments including HOLA, COLA, field service premiums, and hardship and hazardous pay. 

This position will include support to programs and contracts for expatriate administration and supporting the broader International Human Resources and Global Mobility Team. The successful candidate will document processes, support change management, develop communications, and deliver training to stakeholders including employees, managers, and functional departments. Other projects that the successful candidate will contribute to include: country-level global mobility frameworks, business process improvement and automation, and other projects as required. The position will work closely with HR, Program Managers, Employees, Contracts, and vendors. 

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

  • Document processes, train stakeholders, and resolve expatriate allowance and premiums;
  • Maintain records and reporting for expatriate compensation and visas;
  • Work with stakeholders to administer expatriate assignments;
  • Develop, document, communicate and train stakeholders on international assignment programs and processes;
  • Support pricing and contract capture efforts with cost projection and compliance framework solutions/options/issues;
  • Develop template and employee level assignment agreements;
  • Track expatriate employees via some data entry and reporting;
  • Generate reports for internal and external use; and
  • Contribute to and implement global mobility compliance and service programs.
  • Participates in other IHR-related projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers regarding global mobility policies, processes, and requirements.
  • Assist in developing and updating global mobility policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless employee experience throughout the global mobility process.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant human resources procedures and practices, and relevant home/host labor laws
  • Provide immigrant and non-immigrant U.S. visa case support, such as PERM, H1-B, L, TN, and other U.S. visas. 
  • Maintained government compliance documents, and periodically execute internal audits, (including I-9/E-Verify records), to ensure compliance with immigration laws
  • Deliver relocation assistance to initiate onboarding, expense management, tax compliance, and logistics support
  • Act as a point of contact for relocating employees, offering guidance and support throughout the move to internal stakeholders, as well as external relocation service providers
  • Conduct needs assessments and offer customized recommendations based on the employees specific circumstances and preferences
  • Monitor and manage relocation budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality service


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
The Global Mobility Analyst must have:
● Education: Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of related experience; OR in lieu of degree, 6 years of related experience is required.

● International experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Relocation, immigration/visas experience or other global HR experience
● Technical skills: Proficiency in the use of Workday, MS Office including strong Excel skills, SharePoint and other records and collaboration systems.

● Position requires a self-motivated, professional, capable of prioritizing workload and schedule

● Role requirements: Effective administrative and organizational skills; Knowledge of general human resources practices and procedures; Strong verbal and written communication skills
● Location: Hybrid to Falls Church, VA with the expectation the selected candidate will work three (3) days minimum in the office

PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:

● Fluency in a foreign language preferred

● HR Certification (SHRM, HRCI, CBP)

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $66,725 - $90,275. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
